Canon EOS 33 (Elan 7) 35mm SLR Film Camera + Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 STM Lens - *CHECKED*
This combo is truly a recipe for some exceptional work - perfect for pros and beginners alike, a camera you can grow with, and take pictures with straight away.
The EOS 33
Not to be confused with the more consumer grade 35mm EOS models, the EOS 33 (also known as the Elan 7 in Japan) is one of the later 35mm film SLR cameras to be made by Canon in the year 2000, towards the end of the original film era. This camera was the culmination of years and years of technological advancements, with features you see on many top spec digital cameras today.
Utilising an EF mount, this body will work with many of the Canon EF mount lenses made, perfect for a photographer who wants to utilise existing lenses they have for other film/digital Canon bodies.
This camera has exceptional matrix metering, continuous firing @ 4fps (add the Canon battery pack for even more shots per second), and a colossal array of features, programmable buttons and feels great in the hand.
This model fitted nicely into the ‘pro-sumer’ range, meaning it wasn’t cheaply built or with a plastic structured body, but instead was built to a very high standard without the weather sealing and substantial extra weight you got from it’s professional range relatives such as the 1V.
This camera has been fully tested, and as you’d expect is pin-point accurate across all shutter speeds, and settings, and is ready to go to a new owner, who won’t be disappointed!
The Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 STM Lens
Sharper, faster AF and a cut above the original AF 50mm lens models, this EF lens is truly a nifty-fifty. Small, lightweight and produces excellent results + you can swap it onto your other EF mount film & digital cameras - you won’t be disappointed!
