A brand new, unused Nikon F3 base plate is unheard of in 2026. These parts stopped being made in final production runs in the early 2000’s, the vast majority of NOS exterior parts have been used up as they are the parts which are most susceptible to wear from their environment or damaged through use.
We’ve had this in our parts cache for several years, but have decided there is no point holding onto it forever, we want it to go to someone who will use it, or perhaps a collector, someone with a pristine camera which has a worn base plate, maybe where it’s the final part in a restoration, or perhaps you just like collecting NOS parts.
This comes complete with original parts label, bag (packaging pictured) and the plastic ‘keeper’ used to protect the paint work during storage (and perhaps when fitted?).
